Epiphone 50th Ann 1962 Sorrento Hollow Body Electric Guitar w Case by Gibson
Selling my Vintage 1972 Mosrite Celebrity. This guitar is in great condition for its age. I have owned it about 6 months and just don't play it enough. From what I can tell from research on the net it was a guitar that Semie Moseley probably donated to a church or school because it has no serial number. It is stamped 2 ND on the fretboard. The neck plays just fine and it has the signature Mosrite fast frets and mini dot inlays. I assume it was a second as there are a few finish flaws on the front of the headstock near the nut so perhaps that's why. But, that is speculation. There is no serial number on the body either. The tuners are made in Japan and a couple are a bit sticky. The control pots also appear to be foreign made as the numbers don't match any US pots. Moseley would apparently use lesser quality parts on guitars that were donated. The finish is in very good shape for a guitar this age. There are scratches here and there and a larger flaw on the bottom edge near the input jack as shown in the pics. The tailpiece is not original and the pickguard is missing. The frets are not bad, a few pits mostly on the first fret but no buzzing and plenty of life left in them. Electronics are working fine. Please let me know if you have any questions about the guitar.
There is no case or gigbag included. However, it will be well packed for shipment and insured.
